One usually rates a property on the basis of quality of room, service, price etc. But we had quite the emergency with my wife breaking her foot on the first evening! The staff were absolutely brilliant in organising a doctor to come and examine her in the room, and then really helpful throughout the week with her incapacity. To me that is the hallmark of a great hotel - NOT how they are when things are going well, but how they respond when you have a disaster. They were all brilliant - from the manager downwards - really friendly, helpful and understanding. I cannot thank them enough for making our stay as comfortable as it could be despite the circumstances. And I have used this hotel in the past, when everything has been fine, and it is a great hotel to stay at for either holiday or business. A VERY BIG THANK YOU TO YOU ALL from my wife and myself.

The Traiano is barely half a block from the city’s most renowned landmark from antiquity, the Arch of Trajan (after whom the hotel itself is named). The connection to the hotel annex is a bit complicated but ingenious, and the room was quite comfortable.

Super big room, almost as big as the bathroom :) Very, very calm. The hotel is very fancy, retro style, a lot of marble, but is very pleasant. Outside the walls of the town, but very close to main avenue and touristic areas. The garage it's a plus.

It is a well-restored building, designed in an efficient but welcoming way. The staff are extremely pleasant and accommodating, making my short stay very comfortable. The facilities are well-equipped for a longer stay.

The Staff is very welcoming and helpful. The hotel is in a very convenient location, and is exceptionally clean and comfortable. Included breakfast is very fresh and varied. Excellent cappucino!!
